1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. We describe both below.
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
In short: we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We only store in your browser what the website and app need to work or to remember your settings.
2. The traderaiassistant.com website
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | cookie | Remembers the site language (Polish or English). | until you close the browser |
| traderaiassistant-cookie-consent-v2 | browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner so we don't ask on every visit. | until you clear your browser data |
| editorial panel session | cookie and browser storage | Only for our team members who sign in to the site's editorial panel. Regular visitors never get it. | up to 1 hour (renewed while signed in) |
The site's fonts are served from our own server — browsing the site doesn't connect you to external font services. There are no analytics tools, advertising pixels or social media plugins on the site.
3. The app.traderaiassistant.com app
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sign-in session | cookie or browser storage | Keeps you signed in. The app doesn't work without it. | until you sign out |
| interface settings | browser storage (localStorage) | Language, collapsed menu, dismissed hints, the state of a connection you started (e.g. TradingView). | until you clear your browser data |
In the app, we record basic feature-usage events in our own database (without third-party analytics tools) — this is covered by the Privacy Policy.
4. Consent and changing it
Everything described above is either necessary for the service you asked for or remembers your choice — the law doesn't require consent for that. We still show the cookie banner so you know what's going on and have a choice.
If we ever add something that needs consent (e.g. analytics), we'll describe it here, ask you separately, and won't switch it on without your consent. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it:
- — the same link is in the footer of every page.
- You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Deleting the session will sign you out of the app.
